The Scots, housed in a group of 19th century stone buildings, is set on the shores of the Sea of Galilee just north of Tiberias, overlooking the Golan Heights. Tel Aviv Airport (TLV) is 100 kilometres away.

It aims to use produce from the Galilee in the kitchens, including special cheeses, locally-grown vegetables, and herbs from the hotel herb garden. The restaurant serves gourmet meals of the very highest standard. Abounding with color and flavor, meals are served daily to hotel guests and casual diners. It also offers private dinner parties (buffet and sit-down meals) in smaller rooms at the restaurant.
