Sligo Town is a thriving farm town on the south side of the River Garavogue, surrounded on three sides by mountains, the most famous of which are Ben Bulben to the north and Knocknarea to the south. Sligo Town is in the midst of a major renaissance. Roughly half to two-thirds of the town center has been refurbished in the past 9 years.
From a visitor's perspective, the focus of this radical rejuvenation has been Sligo's new "Left Bank," where cafes and restaurants spill onto the waterfront promenade whenever weather permits. It will also affect you in terms of driving, as construction closes streets and requires confusing roadway diversions, but it's a small enough town that it's really impossible to be lost for long.

The club has a 20 metre swimming pool and children’s pool, and for those who like to stay trim the spacious gym has over 60 pieces of cardiovascular equipment. Guests can also work up a sweat in the aerobics room and then unwind with a session in the sauna, steam room or hot tub.
