Chalet Swiss Hotel is centrally located in Interlaken. Built in traditional Swiss Chalet style it is only 8 - 10 minutes away from the railway station and the boat landing pier. The hotel is rustic and cozy and enjoys a magnificient view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountain range.
The exterior of the hotel's main building is traditional and as the name suggests it is of chalet style. The hotel also has an annexe in which most of the rooms are housed. This building is behind the main building and is modern in style. Downstairs there is a childrens' play room.
The restaurant is well known for its delicious "cheese fondue" and "fondue bourguignoone".

It is an excellent hotel with a nice view of mountains. It has a very peaceful setting and still is very close to the heart of the city. Nice place to stay. Only shortcoming is the breakfast they serve; not up to the international standards.
